ADA Litigation Associate (San Francisco)

JMBM's San Francisco office seeks an outstanding associate, with 3-4 years of experience in ADA compliance and litigation. Experience advising clients in identifying architectural accessibility barriers and recommending steps to comply with the ADA and California Building Code is required. In addition, experience assisting clients with Internet-related compliance, including retail websites and online reservation systems is necessary. The ideal candidate will also have significant experience litigating in Federal court, including case management and trial experience. A strong academic record and admission to the State Bar of California are required. Department of Justice experience is helpful. This position provides the opportunity to join one of the most dynamic ADA defense practices in the country. Corporate Associate (Los Angeles)

JMBM’s Los Angeles office has an opportunity for an exceptional corporate associate with 2–3 years of experience to join a team of corporate attorneys, representing middle market clients on a variety of corporate transactions. Candidates should have a strong general corporate transactional background, including experience with mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, spin-offs, divestitures, financings, and strategic investment and alliances. Solid experience in drafting and reviewing corporate documentation is required. Excellent academic credentials, as well as strong written, interpersonal and communication skills are required. 

Our corporate clients include public and private companies, wealthy individuals, and family offices. They span a diverse range of industries, including consumer products, electronics, entertainment, financial services, food and beverage, manufacturing, retail and technology.

Candidates should be able to work in a team, while also handling significant individual responsibilities. Major transactional firm experience is required. Patent and Trademark Associate (Los Angeles)

JMBM’s Los Angeles office has an immediate opening for an attorney with experience in patent, trademark and copyright prosecution and related transactional matters, some litigation experience and a growing book of business. A technical degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Computer Science is preferred. Candidates must be admitted to the USPTO and be a member of the California Bar. JMBM's Los Angeles office has an opportunity for an exceptional Trusts & Estates associate with 1 – 2 years of experience to join our Taxation, Trusts & Estates department. Ideal candidates will have experience in trust administration and providing proactive estate planning solutions for high net worth individuals and families. Experience drafting estate planning documents, including trusts is required. Commitment to the highest quality of work and client service is expected. Trusts & Estates Paralegal (Los Angeles)

JMBM is seeking a Trusts & Estates Paralegal in its Los Angeles office. A strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to work in a team environment is required. The Trust and Estates Paralegal is responsible for assisting attorneys with all aspects of estate planning and trust administration. General duties include preparation of estate planning documents such as wills, trusts and powers of attorney; assist with post mortem trust administration, including County Assessor filings, statutory notice, allocation of assets and preparation or review of estate tax returns (Form 706); and draft real estate deeds and other asset title documents. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, send resume and salary requirements via email to jkrikorian@jmbm.com.
