ADA Litigation Associate (San Francisco)

JMBM's San Francisco office seeks an outstanding associate, with 3-4 years of experience in ADA compliance and litigation.  Experience advising clients in identifying architectural accessibility barriers and recommending steps to comply with the ADA and California Building Code is required. In addition, experience assisting clients with Internet-related compliance, including retail websites and online reservation systems is necessary. The ideal candidate will also have significant experience litigating in Federal court, including case management and trial experience.  A strong academic record and admission to the State Bar of California are required.  Department of Justice experience is helpful.  This position provides the opportunity to join one of the most dynamic ADA defense practices in the country. Patent and Trademark Associate (Los Angeles)

JMBM’s Los Angeles office has an immediate opening for an attorney with experience in patent, trademark and copyright prosecution and related transactional matters, some litigation experience and a growing book of business. A technical degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Computer Science is preferred. Candidates must be admitted to the USPTO and be a member of the California Bar. Tax Associate (Los Angeles)

JMBM’s Los Angeles office seeks a tax associate with 4-6 years of experience to join our Taxation, Trusts & Estates department. Ideal candidates will have experience with partnership, individual, and corporate taxation on a broad range of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, and real estate. Excellent academic credentials, as well as strong written, interpersonal and communication skills are required. Candidates should be able to work in a team, while also handling significant individual responsibilities. This position entails client contact and will also involve some trusts and estates work. Major law firm experience and an LL.M. in Taxation are preferred; international  experience is a plus. Admission to the State Bar of California is required.
