Corporate Associate (Los Angeles)

JMBM’s Los Angeles office has an opportunity for an exceptional corporate associate with 4-6 years of experience to join a team of corporate attorneys, representing middle market clients and private equity firms on a variety of corporate transactions. Candidates should have a strong general corporate transactional background, including experience with mergers and acquisitions, equity/debt financings, joint ventures, spin-offs, divestitures, and strategic investments/alliances. Solid experience in drafting and reviewing M&A/financing documents and other corporate documentation is required. Excellent academic credentials, as well as strong written, interpersonal and communication skills are required.  We also highly value an entrepreneurial nature and an inclination towards networking and business development. 

Our corporate clients include public and private companies, investment firms, wealthy individuals, and family offices.  They span a diverse range of industries, including consumer products, technology/media/telecom, electronics, entertainment, financial services, healthcare, food and beverage, manufacturing and retail, among others. 

Candidates should be able to work in a team, while also handling significant individual responsibilities. Major transactional firm experience is required. Trust & Estates Associate (Los Angeles)

The Los Angeles office of JMBM seeks an exceptional Trusts & Estates associate with 3-7 years of experience to join our Taxation, Trusts & Estates department. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in trust administration and providing sophisticated estate planning solutions for high net worth individuals and families. Significant experience in drafting estate planning documents, including revocable and irrevocable trusts is required. Knowledge of tax issues relating to the entertainment industry and intangibles is desired. The highest quality of work and client service is expected.
