JMBM is seeking a Trust and Estate Planning Secretary to provide administrative support to attorneys and paralegals in the department. The successful candidate must have 3 to 5 years' experience supporting a trust and estate planning practice in a law firm. Candidates for this position must also have superior organizational skills and the ability to balance competing priorities. Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills are a must. Ability to work independently and take initiative also needed. Must have proficient knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and PDF program. Working knowledge of FileSite, Aderant and Workshare Compare is a plus. The Records Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Department and for the supervision of the Records staff and their workflow. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years' prior records management experience in paper and electronic form. In addition, experience with managing the change to electronic records system is needed. Prior law firm and iManage experience is desirable. Strong interpersonal, leadership, organization and communication skills are a must. Bachelor's Degree required.

The IT Trainer is responsible for the design, development and delivery of training on the Firm’s computer desktop configuration and business applications. The IT Trainer will work closely with IT, Human Resources and Professional Development team members to manage, customize and maintain training materials and resources for JMBM’s end user computing environment, deliver new attorney and staff computer training, identify the need for, organize and deliver group training classes, and manage and maintain the Firm’s Learning Management System. The IT Trainer will also provide backup support to the Helpdesk on a regular basis, working as an additional member of this team. 

The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with experience in a helpdesk function or other time-critical client services organization, have the ability to easily develop a rapport with users, have a pleasant phone voice and desk-side manner, excellent listening skills, possess the ability to lead the user to a solution though one-on-one guidance and be responsive to urgent support requests with strong follow-up skills. Experience creating computer based training videos with screen recording tools required. Four-year college degree or equivalent experience also required.

The Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for posting cash receipts, preparing daily financial reports, weekly credit limit reports and monthly attorney A/R reports. Other tasks include making collection calls, retainer transfers, client account analysis, reconciliations and miscellaneous tasks as needed. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as experience working with clients, attorneys and staff at all levels is sought. A high degree of professionalism and customer service skills, in addition to the ability to adapt to changing priorities is also needed. Superior computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook), and proficiency in Aderant (accounting software) are required. Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in a law firm. Bachelor's Degree also required.

The Trust and Estates Paralegal is responsible for drafting estate planning documents and handling all aspects of trust administration at the direction of the Tax attorneys in the Century City office. The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience in the trust and estates department of a law firm, excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as exceptional interpersonal skills. Superior organization and attention detail also needed. A four-year college degree or equivalent and ABA approved paralegal certificate required.
