REAL ESTATE/HOSPITALITY SECRETARY (LOS ANGELES)

JMBM is seeking a full-time Legal Secretary for its Real Estate practice in the Los Angeles office. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience handling documentation supporting real estate and financing transactions in a law firm. Proficiency in MS Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel), client relationship management and document management programs, red-lining, time entry and billing programs are needed. Excellent communication and interaction skills are required, as are professionalism, discretion, organization and attention to detail. Extensive event and travel planning experience preferred to support the Firm’s international conference, Meet The Money®.

SENIOR SYSTEMS ENGINEER (LOS ANGELES)

JMBM is seeking a full-time Senior Systems Engineer with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in a law firm production environment, at least 3 as a Systems Engineer. The Senior Systems Engineer will support servers, storage, networking, applications and security in an enterprise environment. A blend of technical skills, positivity, leadership, dedication and responsibility for the daily operations of the Firm are sought. The ability to successfully troubleshoot and resolve issues under critical time constraints is a must. Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical field or equivalent work experience required. Certifications with Microsoft (MTA, MCSA, MCSE) or VMware (VCA, VCP) are preferred.

ADMINISTRATIVE/PRACTICE ASSISTANT (ORANGE COUNTY)

The Admin./Practice Assistant will be responsible for assisting attorneys and staff in the Irvine office. Duties will include answering phones, filing, scanning, copying and organizing paper and electronic documents, as well as preparing documents for overnight delivery or mail. The successful candidate will have keen attention to detail and superior organizational and computers skills. The ability to work independently and as a member of a dynamic, high-paced team are also desired skills. Some experience working in a clerical position in a law firm also needed. LITIGATION SECRETARY (LOS ANGELES)

JMBM is seeking a Litigation Secretary with a minimum of 5 years' civil litigation experience for the Los Angeles office. The successful candidate will have experience with filing in state and federal court, court calendaring, have keen attention to detail, and excellent organizational and computers skills. A high degree of professionalism, ability to work independently and as a member of a dynamic, high-paced litigation team are also desired skills. In addition, poise, interpersonal and above-par communication skills are also required. RECORDS MANAGER (LOS ANGELES)

The Records Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Department and for the supervision of the Records staff and their workflow.  The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years' prior records management experience in paper and electronic form. In addition, experience with managing the change to electronic records system is needed. Prior law firm and iManage experience is desirable. Strong interpersonal, leadership, organization and communication skills are a must. Bachelor's Degree required.

Paralegals 

Corporate Paralegal (Los Angeles)

The Corporate Paralegal will have responsibility for creating organizational and dissolution documents for corporations (including non-profit corporations), LLCs and partnerships; will assist with purchase and sale transactions; will draft deeds and miscellaneous regulatory filings; and prepare other related documents and miscellaneous tasks as needed. The successful candidate must have 3 to 5 years’ experience in a law firm environment; excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as exceptional interpersonal skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team are a must. Four-year college degree or equivalent and ABA approved paralegal certificate required.

Trust and Estates Paralegal (Los Angeles)

The Trust and Estates Paralegal is responsible for drafting estate planning documents and handling all aspects of trust administration at the direction of the Tax attorneys in the Century City office. The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience in the trust and estates department of a law firm, excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as exceptional interpersonal skills. Superior organization and attention detail also needed. A four-year college degree or equivalent and ABA approved paralegal certificate required.
