Talent Engagement Lead (Los Angeles)

As a Talent Engagement Lead, you will employ innovative ideas and the power of social media to convey the experience of a career at Jeffer Mangels Butler & Mitchell, LLP (JMBM) to prospective candidates. Working closely with hiring managers and staff, you will develop a strong understanding of the Firm's culture and present that image through various outlets to develop and maintain a pipeline of talent to fulfill the Firm's hiring needs. You will be responsible for the recruitment process in its entirety from start to finish. In addition to staff recruiting, you will work closely with the Director of Attorney Recruiting on attorney hiring throughout the year.

The actual base pay offered will depend upon a variety of factors, including, but not limited to the selected candidate's qualifications, years of relevant experience, and experience in the legal industry. Senior Network Engineer (Los Angeles)

The Senior Network Engineer will be a technical leader, proactive customer-focused advocate and a strategist with meaningful experience across multiple technology areas. They will provide enterprise level network architecture design and implementation expertise. The Engineer will also be intrinsically involved in new cloud and infrastructure projects including planning, deployment and management. The Engineer will work closely with the various IT teams and other business departments to research and recommend IT solutions to solve business problems.

The actual base pay offered will depend upon a variety of factors, including, but not limited to the selected candidate's qualifications, years of relevant experience, and experience in the legal industry. Paralegals

Trusts & Estates Paralegal (Orange County)

The Trusts and Estates Paralegal is responsible for drafting estate planning documents and for handling all aspects of trust administration at the direction of the Tax attorneys in the Orange County office. Duties and responsibilities include drafting estate planning documents (including wills, living trusts, irrevocable trusts and asset transfers), assisting with post mortem trust administration (including assessor forms, statutory notices, creation of sub trusts, and allocation of assets), preparing or reviewing estate tax returns (Form 706) and gift tax returns (Form 709), preparing or reviewing accountings, drafting real estate deeds and other asset title documents, forming LLCs, corporations and partnerships (including charitable entities), and preparing purchase and sale agreements for inter-family transfers.

A four-year college degree or equivalent and an ABA approved paralegal certificate are required for this position. The ideal candidate will also have a minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience as a paralegal in the trusts and estates department of a top AmLaw firm.
