Staff:

Director of Information Technology (Los Angeles)

The role

As an experienced IT Director, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the Firm's engineering and help desk teams; as well as, managing the IT budget, resources, and vendor relationships. Ideally, you will be comfortable with designing, implementing, and supporting the network infrastructure, applications, and all other related technologies (physical, virtual, and cloud) throughout the organization.

The Individual

As the ideal candidate, you will have the following skills and experiences:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience troubleshooting and using public/private cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, and/or GCP).
  • Real-world experience working with TCP/IP, Firewalls, SD-WAN, routing protocols Linux, and visualization tech (kvm, lxc, etc).
  • A hands-on management approach.
  • 10+ years of IT support experience.

Location: 5 days onsite until 90-day probation, then Hybrid (Century City).

Salary: $280k - $300k base plus excellent package on offer including insurance and performance-related bonuses. The base pay offered will depend upon a variety of factors.

Director of Marketing and Business Development (Los Angeles)

The role

As an experienced Director of Marketing & BD, you will be responsible for assisting the overall performance of the Marketing and BD professionals to enhance the Firm's image; as well as, interacting directly with attorneys and department heads to design strategies that will boost marketing efforts and further develop existing client relationships. Ideally, you will be comfortable with onboarding while demonstrating an understanding of data, trends, competitive intelligence, marketing campaign creation, budget management, content creation, audience engagement, and lead generation.

The Individual

As the ideal candidate, you will have the following skills and experiences:

  • Bachelor's degree required. MBA or similar master's degree preferred.
  • Proficient with Canva, Adobe, Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, analytic tools, and CRMs.
  • Minimum of ten years' experience in the field of marketing or business development required.
  • Experience working in a law firm or legal department is preferred.

Location: 5 days onsite until 90-day probation, then Hybrid (Century City).

Salary: $200k - $225k base plus excellent package on offer including insurance and performance-related bonuses. The base pay offered will depend upon a variety of factors.

Senior Systems Engineer (Los Angeles)

The role

As an experienced Senior Systems Engineer, you will be providing enterprise-level architecture design and implementation expertise. The Engineer will also be intrinsically involved in new cloud and infrastructure projects including planning, deployment, and management. Ideally, you are mostly familiar with network technology and will need to demonstrate experience with networking, Windows servers, and developing infrastructure standards.

The Individual

As the ideal candidate, you will have the following skills and experiences:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or related fields.
  • 7+ years of experience as a system admin/engineer or with network design and architecture
  • Experience with documenting Infrastructure architecture and developing standards.
  • Experience with or knowledge of programming languages (PowerShell or Python). 
  • Windows Server Experience (AD, Group Policy, Image deployments, Veeam/backup systems, SQL ,IIS, VMware and VxRail if possible, DR experience).
  • Networking experience (Switching routing and firewalls) Route 53, Palo alto Firewalls, Meraki, Cisco, Dell, Ruckus, Brocade, but open to all network experience.

Location: 5 days onsite until 90-day probation, then Hybrid (Century City).

Salary: $135k -$145k base plus excellent package on offer including insurance and performance-related bonuses. The base pay offered will depend upon a variety of factors.

Billing Supervisor (Los Angeles)

The role

As an experienced Billing Supervisor, you will be responsible for collaborating with attorneys to edit monthly prebills and invoices, adhering to Firm and client guidelines, while also managing client-matter details and billing requirements in the Aderant system. Ideally, you'd demonstrate an understanding of supporting client billing system inquiries, rate entry, billing requirements, accounts receivable, and various assigned tasks, strong communication abilities, and a cooperative attitude.

The Individual

As the ideal candidate, you will have the following skills and experiences:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 5+ years of Billing experience.
  • Real-world experience working with Microsoft Suite and Aderant (or Elite) billing system preferred.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities as required.

Location: 5 days onsite until 90-day probation, then Hybrid (Century City).

Salary: $95-105k base plus excellent package on offer including insurance and performance-related bonuses. The base pay offered will depend upon a variety of factors.

Billing Specialist (Los Angeles)

The role

Litigation Secretary (San Francisco)

The role

As an experienced Litigation Secretary, you will be responsible for filing in state and federal court, preparing legal documents, and handling all aspects of administration at the direction of the Litigation Attorneys and Office Administrator; as well as, interacting directly with vendors to process payments. Ideally, you will also be comfortable organizing meetings/travel and demonstrating knowledge of CCP/FRCP.

The Individual

As the ideal candidate, you will have the following skills and experiences:

  • 4-year college degree in a related field or equivalent.
  • ABA approved paralegal certificate is a plus.
  • Experience managing attorney calendars, attorney time entry/expense reports, drafting written responses or reply by phone to requests for information, and maintain electronic filing system and retrieve information and documents as needed.
  • Prioritizing efficient workflow with little or no supervision.
  • Real-world experience working with Microsoft Suite, Hot Docs, iManage, and electronic filing systems used by CA and federal courts.
  • 6+ years of Litigation experience in California state and federal court.

Location: 5 days onsite until 90-day probation, then Hybrid (San Francisco).

The role

Paralegals:

Trusts & Estates Paralegal (Orange County)

The role

As an experienced Paralegal, you will be responsible for drafting estate documents and handling all aspects of trust administration at the direction of the Tax Attorneys; as well as, interacting directly with clients to keep them informed. Ideally, you will also be comfortable communicating with staff and third-party vendors.

The Individual

As the ideal candidate, you will have the following skills and experiences:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and ABA approved paralegal certificate.
  • Experience drafting estate planning documents, post-mortem trust administration, preparing or reviewing estate tax returns & gift tax returns, and drafting real estate deeds and among other tittle documents.
  • Real-world experience working with Microsoft Suite, Hot Docs, Aderant, iManage, and Adobe.
  • 7-10 years of Paralegal experience within Trusts and Estates.

Location: 5 days onsite until 90-day probation, then Hybrid (Orange County).

Salary: $90k - $100k base plus excellent package on offer including insurance and performance-related bonuses. The base pay offered will depend upon a variety of factors.
