Shelly is an associate in the Firm's Taxation department. Shelly’s practice focuses on tax planning for businesses and individuals, mergers and acquisitions, spinoffs, and other transactional matters.

She advises on tax structuring and issues in mergers and acquisitions, including tax-deferred exchanges and reorganizations for corporations, mergers and divisions of tax partnerships, and cross-border transactions. She also has experience in private equity funds and operating entities, offering guidance on entity organization, and drafting and negotiating complex agreements, including limited liability company and partnership agreements, as well as equity and asset purchase agreements. With her experience in tax and business law, she possesses the ability to develop creative solutions that adeptly meet business, tax, and legal objectives.
