Sara Baird

Sara Baird is Of Counsel in the Taxation, Trusts & Estates department of Jeffer Mangels Butler & Mitchell LLP. She specializes in finding creative and practical solutions to complex tax issues.

Sara routinely advises individuals and business entities on a wide range of tax matters, including M&A transactions, financing, internal corporate restructurings, Section 1031 exchanges, and deferred compensation. She also designs and implements tax-efficient estate planning, wealth transfer, and business succession strategies for individuals, families, and executives across the wealth spectrum.

A native of Iowa and a California transplant, Sara enjoys surfing, playing tennis, and spoiling her dog with elaborate outfits.

Sara received her law degree from Loyola Law School and her Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in Taxation from New York University.
