Melody Mohammadi is an associate in the Corporate Department at Jeffer Mangels Butler & Mitchell LLP (JMBM). Her practice focuses on representing financial institutions, sponsors, institutional investors, and private companies in a wide range of debt financing transactions. These include senior-secured, asset-based, syndicated, cash-flow, cross-border, working capital, commercial solar, and acquisition financings, as well as transactions secured by real property.
Melody has experience drafting and negotiating complex loan documentation, including loan agreements, guaranties, subordination and security agreements, perfection certificates, closing certificates, and related ancillary documents. She also conducts due diligence, including the review of UCC and intellectual property searches to support secured lending transactions.
Clients appreciate Melody’s strong research and drafting skills, extreme responsiveness, and apt willingness to learn about their needs and assist them.
Before joining JMBM, Melody worked as an associate in the commercial finance and luxury brands group at a national law firm, and previously held positions in both legal and consulting roles. She also served as a consultant in the Financial Services Organization at EY, where she supported compliance testing initiatives and client communications for wealth and asset management firms.
In her free time, Melody enjoys watching movies and television, trying new restaurants, travelling, and spending time with loved ones.
