Julia Siewit

Julia Siewit is an associate in the Taxation, Trusts & Estates Department at Jeffer Mangels Butler & Mitchell LLP (JMBM). Her practice focuses on corporate and tax matters, including entity formation, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and tax planning.

Julia advises individuals, closely held businesses, and corporate clients on business structuring and transactional matters, with a focus on minimizing tax liability and supporting long-term strategic growth. Julia began her professional path with a focus on accounting and finance, and transitioned into law to help clients more holistically navigate the tax and legal aspects of complex transactions. This dual background enables her to bridge financial and legal considerations with a problem-solving mindset.

Outside of her practice, Julia enjoys hiking and park outings with her two dogs—when she can convince them to get out of bed, as both firmly prefer napping to exercise. When not coaxing the dogs outside, she spends time tending to her ever-growing collection of plants, proudly cultivating a moderately green thumb.
