Kourosh Azin is an attorney in the Corporate Group at Jeffer Mangels Butler & Mitchell LLP. He advises clients on a wide range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and general corporate governance. Kourosh has extensive experience representing private equity firms and strategic buyers in complex buy-side and sell-side transactions, ranging from early-stage investments to multibillion-dollar acquisitions. He regularly leads diligence efforts, negotiates transaction documents, and coordinates cross-functional legal teams to support clients' business objectives.
Prior to joining JMBM, Kourosh practiced at leading international law firms, including Goodwin Procter LLP and Sidley Austin LLP, where he advised clients on buy-side and sell-side transactions ranging from $10 million to $3 billion. His work included asset and stock purchase acquisitions, strategic mergers, growth equity investments, and search fund transactions. He regularly led diligence workstreams, negotiated transaction documents, and conducted general corporate governance including drafting NDAs and transaction documents (e.g., purchase agreements and disclosure schedules).
