JMBM seeks an outstanding junior tax, trusts and estates associate to join the Taxation, Trust & Estates department of our Century City office. The successful candidate will have 1-3 years of law firm experience concentrated in taxation. The candidate should have experience structuring corporate and partnership transactions, in addition to drafting tax provisions within the transaction documents. Experience or academic background in the estate planning and tax-exempt organization practice areas is desirable, as the successful candidate must balance concurrent, ongoing matters in tax, estate planning and tax-exempt organizations. Strong academic credentials and admission to the California Bar are required. An LL.M. in tax is preferred. JMBM’s tax, trust and estates practice is among the largest in Los Angeles. Marketing Technology Administrator
The Marketing Technology Administrator is responsible for the firm's Client Relationship Management (CRM) system and its peripheral applications. JMBM's lawyers fully utilize CRM technology to communicate with external contacts on a frequent and ongoing basis, including through email newsletters and publications to large lists of contacts. The Marketing Technology Administrator's primary role is to keep the CRM system functioning smoothly, with minimal down-time. This includes troubleshooting, implementing CRM projects, keeping the technology updated, and overseeing the integrity of our data. The Marketing Technology Administrator is a valued member of the Marketing team and takes the leading role in developing strategy for marketing technology at the firm, including keeping up with new products as they become available.
The Marketing Technology Administrator will also participate in projects across the department and contribute to firm and attorney marketing strategies. As one of 6 members of our mid-sized firm's active and respected Marketing Department, this position offers the opportunity to use creative and marketing skills to collaborate with others on the team on a variety of projects, including branding, design, video, and online media. The position reports to the firm's marketing manager, and works directly with the firm's IT engineers, Help Desk personnel and trainers. The position has frequent contact with lawyers and staff members at all levels.
