Madeline Niehaus

Madeline Niehaus is JMBM’s firmwide Director of Attorney Recruiting & Professional Development, resident in the Los Angeles office. She leads the firm’s legal talent acquisition efforts with a specific focus on lateral partners and the successful integration of their practices into the firm. Working closely with department and practice group leadership, she oversees the hiring of summer associates, first-year and lateral associates, and partners across the firm. She also organizes and implements programs supporting the development, retention, and promotion of associates and partners.

Madeline brings several years of recruiting experience to her role at JMBM, both in law firms and in search agencies. As a search firm recruiter, she often worked alongside law firm leadership to identify top talent that aligned with client’s business and strategic goals. Most recently, Madeline served as the National Legal Recruiting Manager for an Am Law 100 firm, where she achieved above-market growth while recruiting for 23 offices in an unprecedented market.
