Trevor Countryman is a partner in the firm's Real Estate Department. Trevor is a trusted and strategic advisor with more than a decade of experience in negotiating and closing commercial real estate transactions. He customizes solutions for each client based on their specific needs.
Trevor advises clients in all aspects of real estate transactions including property acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, financing, development and construction. Trevor's clients range from large funds to individual developers and opportunistic investors, engaged in deals involving retail, office, multi-family, industrial, vacant land, mixed-use and hotel properties.
Representative Experience:
- Represented since 2015 a real estate investment company with acquisitions and dispositions of retail shopping centers throughout California, including drafting and negotiating the company's retail leases with a variety of national retail chains.
- Represented landlords and tenants in negotiating more than 100 leases and related documentation for all types of commercial properties, including retail, industrial, warehouse, office, mixed-use, education, and hospitality.
- Represented multiple family offices in the acquisition of more than $2 billion of real estate throughout the United States, including Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Florida, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Maryland.
- Represented an education company tenant in drafting and negotiating leases for space throughout the United States.
- Represented the purchasers and sellers of multiple apartment portfolios in California and the Southwest.
- Represented numerous companies and individuals in the purchases and sales of commercial and multi-family properties, including negotiating purchase and sale agreements, performing due diligence reviews, reviewing and finalizing surveys and site plans, negotiating title insurance policies and exceptions and endorsements, and orchestrating closings.
