Anthony Salvador Perez in an associate in the Firm's Taxation, Trusts & Estates Department. He focuses his practice on estate planning. Anthony leads JMBM’s LBGTQ+ affinity group.

Anthony Perez advises individuals, families, and closely held businesses on sophisticated estate planning and wealth transfer strategies. His practice includes preparing comprehensive estate plans, including revocable and irrevocable trusts. He also has experience in the formation of business entities, including corporations, LLCs, limited partnerships and nonprofit organizations and has advised closely held business owners on succession planning and governance.

In addition to his planning work, Anthony has experience in contested probate and trust litigation as well as initiating and litigating conservatorships and guardianships. He has represented clients through mediation and advised in the negotiation of settlement agreements and effectuation of court-ordered resolutions.

Clients value Anthony for his calm, grounded presence in emotionally charged matters and his ability to distill complex legal concepts into clear, actionable advice. Whether guiding families through sensitive estate planning decisions or navigating high-stakes probate disputes, Anthony is known for his thoughtful listening, strategic mindset, and unwavering professionalism.

In law school, Anthony served as a judicial extern for the Hon. Kim M. Wardlaw on the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the Hon. Rozella A. Oliver of the Central District of California. He served as staff editor for the UCI Law Journal of International, Transnational, and Comparative Law and was Vice President of Outlaw, UCI Law's LGBTQ+ student organization. Anthony was a recipient of the 2021 Mexican American Bar Foundation Scholarship and a 2019 judicial fellow for the Mexican American Bar Association. Prior to law school, Anthony worked as a legal assistant in the Immigrants' Rights Project at Public Counsel, the nation's largest pro bono law firm.
