Before joining JMBM, she managed the federal and state tax controversy matters for a publicly traded financial services company engaged in complex activities, including a direct issue commercial paper program, structured debt offerings, loan collateral and asset backed securities offerings. In addition to the direct issued financial products, the consumer facing business included leasing, lending, banking, and captive insurance services.
More recently, Kristin handled tax operations for a publicly traded manufacturing and multi-level marketing company which underwent a number of governmental inquiries, including investigations for alleged violations under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and an investigation by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
Her experience includes a focus on tax accounting and tax planning for income and transactional tax matters. Kristin is a certified public accountant and holds a license (inactive) with the California Board of Accountancy.
