Betsey Hillman is a member of the firm's Corporate Department. Her practice includes acquisitions, investments, mergers, partnerships, limited liability companies, contracts, regulatory compliance, and general business advice. Betsey has represented and advised clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to closely-held corporations. She has drafted partnership and operating agreements for various joint ventures, and has handled a wide variety of contractual matters, including licensing agreements, employment agreements, and a broad range of commercial transaction agreements. She has represented buy-side and sell-side clients in acquisitions and significant investments. Her regulatory experience currently focuses on the motor vehicle industry, and has previously involved money services businesses and the gift card industry.

Recent representative transactions include:

• Representing a privately-held company in its sale to a strategic buyer backed by a private equity group;
• Representing a client in a multi-million dollar investment in multiple entities within the entertainment industry; and
• Representing a client in a multi-million dollar strategic investment to obtain majority stockholder status in a distribution entity.
