As a member of the Government, Land Use, Environment & Energy Group and the Chinese Investment Group, Amy's practice focuses on land use, zoning, environmental and administrative law.  She is experienced in obtaining and negotiating land use entitlements for large mixed-use, residential, commercial, hotel and energy projects.  Amy handles all matters concerning land use development.  She conducts pre-acquisition due diligence, drafts municipal permit applications, oversees the work of technical consultants and counsels clients in enforcement and compliance matters. She also regularly interfaces with public agency staff members.  Amy represented the lender/owner to preserve entitlements for a 1,461 unit master planned residential development in Riverside County.

Fluent in Mandarin, Amy assists Chinese investors to identify potential projects for the EB-5 Visa program. These transactions range from hotel acquisitions to solar projects. In addition, Amy helps navigate foreign investors through the sometimes complicated process of obtaining government approvals for their investments.

Experienced in negotiating and drafting purchases, sales and option agreements, Amy also has a civil litigation background. She has taken and defended depositions and appears in state court. Amy has represented clients in cases arising under the California Environmental Quality Act.

Prior to entering the legal profession, Amy was an associate in the Assurance and Business Advisory Services at PricewaterhouseCoopers. She obtained her CPA certificate from the State of Delaware in 2004.
